The Athlon 7750 Dual-Core Black Edition 65 nanometer processor looks like it's going to be decent. It is a 95 Watt processor and has 1 megabyte of Level 2 cache and 2 megabytes of Level 3 cache. According to one website it has marks that are a little bit better than the Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 processor:
Everybody knows that Intel has faster processors, thats a given. But not everybody can afford Intel's price tag. Hopefully AMD can revive the CPU market with these releases, it'd be good for pricing and new releases to have some competition.
What about processors like the E5200... btw Stranglehold I apologize, I meant no harm by my statement
The E5200 will match/outperform some of the AMD processors at its price range...I'm not sure about now (with prices changing and all), but atleast in september it did
