Hi there, I have this computer with these specs
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Z87-K ATX w/ GbLAN, 2 PCIe x16 (1 Gen3, 1 Gen2), 2 PCIe x1, 3 PCI
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4770K 3.50 GHz 8MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150
VIDEO: AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card
POWERSUPPLY: 1,200 Watts - LEPA G1200-MA 80 Plus Gold Certified Modular Power Supply
HDD: 2TB (2TBx1) SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD
MEMORY: 32GB (8GBx4) DDR3/1866MHz Dual Channel Memory
I just bought it online. When I turned it on for the first time I noticed the graphics were corrupted. I then put in the cd for my video driver but 75% through the installation the computer screen turned black and the fan starts spinning fast, I then have to kill the power. Also the computer will do this at any random time its just never let me install the video driver(I remembered to uninstall the old display drivers). Then I went to my bios and the graphics were also corrupted there. So I changed the graphic configuration to iGPU and took out the R9 290X and plugged the vga into my motherboard and the corruption was gone!
Is it a compatibility problem or is there something wrong with the graphic card?
Thanks for your time
