amd s:am2 vs s:939

ive read in toms hardware that s:am2 will not outperform s:939 using ddr2 667 but when am2 chips will be using ddr2 800 it will be a different story does anyone know more about this?

It probably wont, because AMDs memory controller loves low latency.
 
i don't really care if the socket m2 will be good or not...

all i care is that, it's brand new and will support cpus like fx 62 or x2 5000
 
i think we can guess and judge all we want, theres not much point thoug, just wait like a month til it somes out and people get some real reviews on it,t then we'll see.
 
i've heard that you need really high quality ddr2 memory to make the most of the new socket.
also, the onboard controller actually lowers latency
