Amd Sempron 2600 Vs Celeron-d 2.6ghz

wat should i get the semperon or celeron. The computer is for my little sister who is 8 and i just wanted to find out which would be better fro her. I am leaning towards the sempron at this stage
 
Is the Semperon a Socket A or a socket 754? If its a 754 I say the semperon, if its a socket A then i think they are pretty equal.

i'd say go with sempron, my celeron D 2.66ghz overheated alot w/ stock cooling during the summer.
