sounds to me like it was just static make sure that before u touch your motherboard u dischrage all static with either an anti-static wristband or by touching metal on your case(like the outside)

after that just pop the battery out with ur fingers and wait a couple minutes then put it back in with the side that has words on it facing out then make sure all the correct connections are made on your computer and boot it up

Unplug it and push the power button a couple of times to discharge it, touch the power supply or a metal part on the case to uncharge yourself, take the battery out for a few minutes but back in, then see if it boots. Its like anything else electrical you unplug it before you work on it!

Thank You very much im gonna ask my dad if i can do thatbecause he went to college for computers.Man i love u guys u commed me down .Is there a great chance when i touched the battery i burnt the motherboard?

You turned my frown upside down

You might have shorted the mobo when you shocked it like that... just make sure to unplug it and unstatic yourself this time.

Not to be rude.

But if you dont even know the basics of electrical work ( unplugging it before you work, turning it off, static, ) and cant even remove a battery. You shouldnt even be trying to overclock in the first place because its alot more tricky, and if something did go wrong, like it did for you, you wouldnt be able to fix it and end up breaking more stuff, which it also sounds like you may have.

No offense, but if you don't know how to put a battery in, you shouldn't be messing around with your computer.

I agree

I do have some computer knowledge myself but i wouldnt even now attempt to overclock because i dost do know enough....If you wanted the thing overclocking you should have someone come and do it who knows what there doing and can fix any problems that may occur.

thank god all that worrys over huh? lol, anyway you say gaming is your thing, why dont you try thinkin about a good mid range graphics card?? then you wont have to overclock

ok, but i mean theres no need to overclock that CPU as it wont really affect games till you got a GFX card that can cater for it

OH MY GOD!! Please, please please read what you are about to post before you post it. Im reading your posts and my brain is hurting because its just such bad grammar and spelling. It isn't hard to quickly read through what you type and atleast make sure its understandable :(
