im looking for a mobo for an amd x2 4400...and suggestions?

if i get a board w/ sli, but don't plan on using it, will it hinder performance?

nope, alot of the best mobo's are sli

you can have 2 ram sticks that work together. more info in RAM101

nothing wrong with using sli motherboard with only 1 video card in it...
in fact, many people do that,
me, my friend are planning to add another video card in the future
