Hi all,
I am a noobie into building PCs, but i was wondering does a
AMD Opteron UP 144 San Diego 1.8GHz 1MB Cache (Socket 939) - Retail (CP-141-AM) (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/AMD_Athlon_MP.html)
fit into a
Sapphire ATI Radeon Xpress 200P SKT939 mATX w/LAN 6Channel Audio USB2.0 SATA (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=90154)
, i ask this bcoz i was told that altho it is a 939 socket, it might still not be compatable. the example i was given was pluging a K7 1ghz into a wrong K7 mobo will blow up ??
If not , what sort of north bridge will take it? and wot sort of chip set?
