hi i have a amd 4000+ socket 939 cpu and im into gaiming would i see a diffrence in performance if i replaced my cpu with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ or would that be a wast of money
 
Honestly, i'd have to say it's a waste of money (unless you can sell the 4000+ for a REALLY good price)
 
1. What do you use the computer for?

2. I would wait, right now not as many apps can utilize dual core. Since you have a very fast processor right now anyway. I would wait until more things become campatible with dual core processors, it wont be long.
