i was wondering if anyone new much about the K8l that should come out in bout a year. all i know about it is what i read on wiki.

There's a lot of complex things being said about K8L, quad core etc.
I read a lot about it a while ago and i dont remember much of it now. I would go to any tech news site and search for K8L and have a look at the articles that appear.

They asy that it will support quad core and DDR2 and DDR3.

To be honest, I havent been keeping up on the K8L, so I don't know much about it. I would do what Hairy_lee said, go to various tech sites and see what info you can dig up there.

okay so, i did some brief research heres what i found.
it will be amd's first cpu with L3 cache sinse the K6. each core has its own L2 cache dedicated to it. shares whole L3. and hyper transport 3.
