Ammo box computer

So I have tomorrow off and so i'm going to start my ammo box computer build :) So far I plan on putting in the entire computer plus the monitor inside the ammo box. Im also going to be putting in the wireless receiver for the mouse and keyboard. If all that goes well, I have a spare 12v battery that would fit in the box so I was debating on using it to boost the battery life to like 24 hours, lol. The only problem would be fitting in a 12v battery charger, the battery and the power inverter, but i know i could get it to all fit if I made a rack inside the case.

I'm taking 15 units this semester and working full time and it's a huge project so I don't plan on finishing it soon, but I hope to get it all done by the end of this month :D

And it starts :)

Total build cost so far:
Ammo box - $21
Spray Paint - $4
Sand paper - $4

lol. I would think so.

How bout put all the components inside and leave the monitor out? Er, what's the point of putting the monitor in/apart of it?
Just asking :)

that is such a cool idea. If you but a 12V battery in though, will it still be portable, i mean, that would weigh a tonne then.

All of your kitchen fittings are the exact same as my grandma's old house too, layout and everything, weird :P

He's right.. Unless you have it on a cart with wheels and a seat for yourself.. Hmmm O.o

Why do you need to say that? It is common knowledge aastii is always right :P

think back to yesterday with one of my 5 word story posts and i think you will see it living itself here :D

Hmmm. The common answer to that statement/question would be "he's right" then you will say the same thing again and it will be a never ending cycle.. So I really CAN'T say anything... Besides " :good: "

But yeah... Maybe take a grocery cart and make a contraption out of that??
Or maybe a go kart to make it extremely portable.. :)

go kart to make it hella fun too :D

Go go karting and play on a coputer at the same time.

How much does all of the stuff weigh at the moment too?

Lol haha. If i stuck a battery in it, it would weigh about 20-30 lbs. It would be heavy but still somewhat portable. Right now it weighs about 10lbs with just the box. I cut out about 3 lbs worth of metal though :)

haha, yeah it's basically going to be a desktop, that runs off batteries and you can carry around. It's not meant to be practical :P

Lol y don't you attach a house fan for phenomenal cooling power if it's already this massive? This is in no way practical, yet still awesome.
