Amplifying Wireless Signal

Hey guys, i havn't been on here for a while now since i just moved into an apartment near my college. I am trying to save some money and hope to use my school's internet from my apartment. I get very low signal from inside the house (sometimes none) but STRONG signal when i go out to the balcony. I know one method would be using a network adapter with an antenna hookup, but i would like it to be wireless.

Any suggestions are well appreciated
