Whats a good way to tell me how many amps my computer is using.
Dont want to buy KILL-A-WATT.

what programs or anything else tells me?
Or get the total number of watts iam using and calculate it to amps.

Most diagnostic and benchmark type programs show results in voltage not amps. The freeware sites usually carry several different system info and benchmark programs like SiSoftware's Sandra Lite 2007 which is now available at http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,4005-order,1-page,1-c,alldownloads/description.html

Now if you have an old clunker lying around that still works you can create your own diagnostic center like the one described in the article seen at http://www.instructables.com/id/EHCY8OL5HQEP287UOJ/
