Hello hello,

Just got my hands on an Amrel Rocky II laptop! Sad thing is...no power supply. But that's A-OK seeing as how it was free. But my question is, do any of you wonderful people here know where I may acquire a compatible AC adapter, or even the actual thing? If anyone here has one in their possession and is willing to sell it to me I'll give you my firstborn along with payment. Anyways, thanks a million.

Rocky II power supply

If you still need help with the power supply you can use a universal tip adapter from Radioshack and any power supply that puts out 19 volts DC with at least 3 Amps. If you need more details email me. I have a number of these and a couple touchscreen mobile units that I'm looking for information on. DP860 and a RM686 cpu unit.

They are laptops that are designed for use in the field. They have many features that make it suitable for use in harsh conditions, snow/rain, out in the forest..etc.

They are big, bulky, heavy, and designed to have the crap kicked out of them.

I think they are used by professionals like police, ems, search and rescue, military,,,etc.
