An artifact?

I managed to OC the memory clock on my GTS 250 a bit and play Crysis: Warhead without any issues. I increased the core clock and shader clock and played and everything was fine, but when I increased the quality to Gamer, four square-ish spots on the left side of the screen popped up and were flashing different colors, like christmas lights. Is this an artifact caused by the memory OC? The game also crashed when I switched back to Mainstream with AA set to x4. Thanks for answering.

It probably is too much. If I set the AA to x8q at 1980 x 1080, the game instantly crashes.

I tried recreating the artifact with only the memory clock OC'ed. It didn't pop up, but the game crashed again. So I guess I have to decrease the clock. I just thought it's strange how the artifact appeared. It looked really cool, but it obviously wasn't normal.

I have a question: is there a limit to the shader clock? When I look at the EVGA Precision chart for the shader clock, the top number is 2000, but when I OC'ed the core clock to 826, the shader jumps to 2006 (the clocks are linked).

Set them all back to stock. Then work on each one individually, raise the core, play a game, check it. Get it stable.

Then do the same for the memory and shader.
