Pertaining to the CDRW drive on my Dell computer. I have always been able to build photo and music files on cd one at a time until the disc was full. For some reason now if a file is saved, the cd is closed and shows full regardless of the file size and of course no additional files can be added.
What is the problem and how can i fix it?
Thanks  :)

I'm pretty sure that's how windows works by default. You can't drag and drop stuff on the CD unless you have some other software loaded. Perhaps something happened to some other program that allowed drag and drop access to the drive?

To just test things out, try getting a program like DeepBurner(totally free) Load that and burn some files though the program. If all's well, then you know it's just a software problem and nothing hardware related.

It sounds as though the last time you burned to the disk it was finalized or you burned without multi session which would have caused that. Make sure if that's what you want to do use a multi-session burn
