an issue with sound, please help

Ok...... so I have this mobo running with Windows Vista

Vista denies all drivers from the Mobo's CD....

I am trying to get the sound working from the mobo's sound

I couldn't install the driver from the Mobo CD, however Vista had a driver that works and says its running fine

However, I hear no sound!

I've tried multiple speakers, so I know its not them

Is there some kind of option I need to check off or something for the sound to work?

i would try the website and double check all your settings in control panel and if your sound has an individual control menu
