An MMC88.msi installation program takes over my Fujifilm fine Pix CD installation.

When it does this the CD can't download properly. I keep trying to cancel the MMC88 but it keeps coming back and taking over the download. I've searched folders and files (hidden ones also) and deleted all the MMC88's I could find, even emptying the Recycle bin. I've done a search with the computer showing no MMC.88. I try to install my Digital camera software with the CD and MMC.88 comes back....I don't know where?
I'm not very profficient on the Computer... XP Pro system.
I have more info on MMC.88 , I'll add tomorrow.... I've gone to the Fuji site and tried downloading from there, some of the USB driver version 3.2 (allows camera to communicate with the camera) ,but it still didn't work. And FinePix viewer program, don't know if it works. What the heck can I do? THANKS.

More info...

This cuts in on the CD installation after the CD starts to install. When MMC88 takes over it doesn't allow the CD to finish, it is suppose to go to a notebook page to be okayed...instead MMC88 says it is installed and restart the computer. The program doesn't work and the camera doesn't communicate.

I even uninstalled the Multi media Center and tried to delete MMC88...MMC88 still got back to interfere. Thanks

To view, copy or delete pictures from your camera you should be able to just plug it into the USB port without installing the viewer software or dirvers, let windows detect it and install drivers. It will then appear in My Computer where you can open it and view/copy/delete the pictures.

Thanks...I tied it your way and a window came up asking for a CD or location to get the info from...so I inserted the CD and MMC88 took over again. I restarted the computer and now it doesn't do anything at all when I plug into the USB port and turn the camera on as per instructions...It's a FujiFilm 3800 camera....HELP!!! Thanks.

Thanks

I forgot to mention I have tried that already...didn,t see the auto start feature fix below it though..I'll try that tonight.

Nothing works the way it should.Auto fix sees nothing wrong. Pictures only appear while camer is connected. MMC88 still stops the proper fuji download.
I tried all of the above and nothing is close to working properly...if I could get rid of mmc88 I'm sure the program would install properly. Anyone out there with suggestions? THANKS.
