I would also like it to have a nice gui...
I tried menuet (only a black screen with a mouse) and kolibri (works buy only when graphics are lowered (a lot)) -- those were nice if it worked right...
the computer is a OS less nec versa 2400 (no CD drive)

Just a word of warning, it does require getting your hands dirty.
