my brother has a problem with his computer, and he thinks its the graphics card. basically when he plays games or even with visuals on WMP, the monitor turns off, and the computer freezes. oh and the music plays for half a second, then keeps looping the half second

anyone got any ideas
 
check the fans to make sure they are spinning, sounds like an overheat issue. If not... Did he install new hardware?
