Here it is:

I could go with a HAF 912 instead, I suppose. But what else could I do to get the price down?
The PSU is like $55 or so with MIR, which is nice. If you suggest something else, please say something semi-modular.

What if I switched to an Athlon Tri and attempted to unlock the fourth core? would I need a different cooler for it to stay stable?

I have so many questions but I need to get this done soon

EDIT: There is no graphics card posted because I can use onboard until I get the money to buy a card.

^ It doesn't have enough for what? It has the same number of x16 slots as the other one...that being 1.

If you don't want to lose the case, then don't. :)

Looking around for combos is probably going to be your best bet. Maybe go with a cheaper PSU. That one is nice but you could definitely get by with a cheaper one. This one is $20 cheaper and performs nearly as well:

I need at least one x1, and 1 x16. maybe two x16 slots. (even at x4 it would work i suppose)

If you're wanting to crossfire, here's a decent 790X board. $99 with a $15 rebate:

It has a good combo with a Phenom II 925...$40 off. Comes to $189, plus the rebate.

Doesn't have usb3 or sata6, but if you actually need them, that's what add-on cards are for. You'll have to use your 4350 for a bit, obviously.

edit: Actually, I'd suggest that even if you're not crossfiring. That's a really good deal.

The 4350 is does not have a full height bracket, so I can't reuse it :(
But, The reason I need two PCI-e slots is because I would like to get an nvidia setup (GFX and Dedicated PhysX) But hell, I need one x1 slot for a Black Magic intensity pro I will buy sometimes, and the x16 for when I get the $$$ for a dedicated graphics card.

Now that I think of it I can't take it out because my current PC has no onboard video. (It does, but it is dead and the PC isn't under warranty.)

Ah

If the other slot is just for PhysX, I suppose an 880G or 785G board would be ok, but I don't see the benefit of a PhysX card over a second GPU in xfire...?

You could always buy a cheap gpu to get you by for now. Would serve as a backup afterwards. This one is $20 after the rebate, and has an s-video connector so you can hook it straight to a TV:

Hmm... I got rid of the GPU to save cost but now add one... I don't know.
I want to go Nvidia because Premiere Pro supports CUDA for Playback and rendering. Needs 100 cuda cores, I think.

Right, but AFAIK the only officially supported cards are the 470 and the GTX285, though the 480 and 465(locked 470) probably work as well.

^ IIRC, you have to hack it to make it allow anything but the "approved" gpu's.

If you must have onboard graphics, look for an Asrock 880 Extreme3 somewhere. It's $110, but has an onboard gpu and supports 8x/8x pcie 2.0 slots. Not a great overclocker but otherwise a solid board.

If it's ONLY for physx, then a board with a 4x slot should be ok, but that's about all it'll be good for.

I don't even plan on using SLi or Xfire, so 8x/8x is unneccesary. I would like to get the price down by using a tri-core though. What are the chances of it unlocking to a quad?

EDIT: yes you have to hack it. I found an article a while ago :) Are there any programs that allow full hardware support for AMD cards?
