Building up a computer, willing to spend around 1,200 since I can pay as I go. I want to know a good build for the money that has EVERYTHING I'll need, including mouse, monitor, etc. I want to play games in it and hopefully I can play in high settings etc. Also wondering if I could get a laptop like that since I take it alot of places. K, thanks.

A safe bet is to start with i5-2500K, 8GB of decent RAM, 6950/560Ti.
As for PSU, I recommend XFX ProSeries. They are amazing.

A minor draft would look something like this:

  • Intel i5-2500K (same performance as i7-2600K)
  • ASUS P8P67 Pro (great motherboard)
  • 8GB 1600MHz HyperX (2x4GB) (RAM is cheap)
  • NVIDIA 560Ti 1GB (cheap and runs very well)
  • XFX ProSeries 750W (best PSU series out there)
  • WD Caviar Black 750GB-1TB

As far as case, it depends on how you'd like it to look. It's also hard to recommend a mouse and keyboard, because it depends on how you hold your mouse and such.

As for monitors I don't know what to recommend. I'm from Denmark and we have BenQ monitors here and they are great. But I looked at Newegg and such, couldn't find any BenQ.

Personally I like Fractal Design R3/XL and I use a Razer Lycosa and a Logitech G5. The G5 doesn't get sold anymore, but the G500 does which is an upgraded version.

But you might wanna get input from other people as well, I'm not saying you should rush out and buy the list I made :D
