Another death by video game.

yeah it must have been. the longest session i have put in was on a console and i can tell ya it never game close to 50 hours. maybe like 20+ one summer in 3 days.

i dunno how some people do it let alone get away with it.
quitting your job? how are you supposed to buy games in the first place?

Either that, or invoking the might of child-labor laws :P. I get away with it because I just kinda lock myself in my room with some soda, ramen, and a direct route to the bathroom.;)
 
my max is at 38 hours.. that was when battlefield 1942 came out, and my parents went on holliday (cuz then i could use my dad's pc, didnt had a own one then :P )

but 3 days... and ofcourse the games will be blamed for it.. -_-
 
Well, first off, it's a Reuters story, so yeah, it's real. And second, the guys lack of self-control should be blamed, not the game, but in a way I guess it was responsible, in the same way people die from alcohol poisoning...
 
lol but at least with alcohol poisoning you aren't in a correct state of mind, this guy is just stupid not to eat or w/e
 
You have to wonder about his health anyway. I believe a human can go almost ten days without sleep before they die from sleep deprivation. But I guess his heart did fail and that could be nudged along by sleep deprivation.
