Another, Even smaller case mod

I just added a bright blue 5mm LED in place of a zalman fan mate at the top of my case, so when the cathode switch is on, the LED turns on.

I think it looks pretty cool, especially in the dark, but it hurts my eyes its so birght.

O and thanks to Thatguy16 who helped me/ showed me how to wire it all up (i grounded the led to my optical drive :D)

EDIT - i just looked at my ceiling to see a huge circle of blue light, man are these things powerfull. It like a meter big :)

Did you cut the hole in the top of your case? I'm thinking of doing that too seeing as how hot air rises, it could take the hot pocket (lol) of air and send it out the top. I do like the LED tho.
 
I did cut the hole, however i found that even when playing games, the air being exhausted wasnt hot it was cool, so i truned fan around to push cool air onto the ram and mobo
