Another Fan ?

OK, I have a question about a CPU fan.

I bought a Intel Celeron 326 processor (2.53GHz Socket 775 LGA) with an included fan in the retail package when I first built my computer. Now I want to upgrade to a Pentium D 940 3.20GHz (Socket 775 LGA).

Can I use the same fan that came with the Celeron on the Pentium D since the OEM Pentium D I'm looking at doesn't come with a fan?

the PD might be alot hotter so you could but, your systems lifespan will decrease

Ya the pd's do run hot actually.

I would get a new fan/heatsink to cool that.
