Another issue

I seem to be getting a lot of bad stuff lately and i am not going anywhere new. Not sure why I am getting anything but anyway. I am using avast atm and still getting pop ups with no detections with avast. AVG doesn't detect anything either and that mbam program that was recomended doesn't detect anything either. Any suggestions on what I can use to keep this stuff from getting on my computer?

Also, Bonjour is back on my computer (Thanks apple can I have another?) and my old method for removing it is nolonger working. Anyone have a clue? Once again, I have no itunes, i got it from quicktime. Doesn't go away even after removing quicktime...

Correction: Avast actually says "this file could not be scanned." What does that mean?

Avast is great, but it's not really designed to keep adware away. I found that if I combine Avast with Windows defender it works really well at blocking stuff.

To get it off your computer you might need to bring in a big gun like Spywaredoctor. I would suggest you unplug your internet when you scan and delete everything. After everything is off, you need to keep Windows Defender and Avast on and update at all times.

If you download a lot of stuff - especially from P2P sites, then you need to buy a really good real time protection. Well worth the $30 investment.
