My parents have a sony vaio desktop
I don't know the exact specs for the computer, but its a Pentium D processor with a gig of memory.
My problem is that out of nowhere.. when i plug it in and try to power it up..i get nothing. No fans spin, nothing tries to happen. The only things that i notice is a flashing light on the PSU and on the mobo. They flash simultaneously and when i unplug the power they keep flashing for a minute or two, but they slow down.
My questioon is..does this sound like a power supply problem, or a short in the mobo somewhere?
