Youd have to look into it more.... Dell boards are usually ASUS based so I dunno

Yeah, Prescotts basically will run a bit hotter but nothing too bad

For the socket478 prescotts i think "a bit hotter" is a minor understatement

32s arent that hard to find 34s are a serious b!tch tho ... they had a few at the last computer show down in TO back in November ... they are/were on NewEgg too .. you couldnt search for it cuz it didnt show up in any of the searches but the page was there if you knew the direct link lol

Is it possible to use ECC ram if your system calls for non ECC?

If not why?

I am looking at 2 sticks of 256 ram for under $20.00 please tell me ECC will work in non ECC mobo.
