Okay. I figured out that any DVD drive that is hooked up to this system, that's when the pc starts getting screwy. Everything is SATA, but I've done tried 2 different DVD drives in the quad core, and its only when I unhook them that the computer runs fine.
I noticed in my last post, someone said a bad hard drive would cause lockups and other issues.
I was playing, Luxor, kind of similiar to Zuma. Anyhow when I was playing the mouse had locked up, but the balls on the screen were still moving. Later on I had the "Starfield" screensaver on, and the stars stopped moving.
All these problems happen when a DVD drive is hooked to the system.
My question here is, is it possible the C: drive or even the D: drive is bad?
Because as of right now, no DVD drives are hooked up to the computer, and it has been running normally all night with no lockups or slowdowns of any kind.
