Antec Sonata III and Power Supply

So i'll be ordering this within a month and it does come with a 500w PS. I know that power supplies usually are iffy if they come with a case but this is from antec.

Here is the PS by itself, so would it be okay if i just used the Earthwatts supply that comes with the case?

Yes, the Earthwatt 500watt PSU is a very capable unit. As long as you don't go SLI with high end cards you should be fine.

Yeah. I just wanted to ask because i will be running a quad core though so i don't know if it is necessary. I've seen reviews of people running the q6600 with this PSU. Also, the system is only going to have one 8600gt so that should be fine.

Yeah that should be fine, great choice on the case.
I'm running that case with the power supply that came with it, it's been running a single 8800gt E6850 one hdd and one dvd burner without any problems.

Of course if you do plan on using SLI i'd suggest getting a better power supply.

Yeah i love Antec Cases, they are very simplistic and quiet. I've been using a Sonata II so i should like this one!
