Here's the box:
Here it is installed:
Here's my cat:
As can be plainly seen, the black fur of the cat clearly complements the color of the power supply, my case AND my laptop bag. And, without question, the racing stripes add 10 BHP to the total output of the circle jerk drivetrain.
Therefore, I give this PSU a 10 out of 10.
lol. Ok.. Now that I'm finished knocking 90% of the PSU reviews out there...
I really like this unit. I think it's ugly as sin, and I think it was made with the nine hundred in mind, but I like how ultra stable and quiet it is. I have a lot of crap in my pc as you can tell. I don't think I use even a fraction of the PSU's capabilities, but I'm very happy with it. I think $200 for it is a very good deal.
For actual data, I have none. I wish it was slightly more modular. They should make the 8 pin EPS and 4 pin ATX removable. You're either going to use one or the other.
Other than that, it's fine. Cables are plenty long enough and no fan on the top for the screws to fall into. At first I was put off by the lack of a second fan, but because of it's uber-efficient design it really doesn't need one.
If you have a black cat, you want one of these PSUs.
The End.
haha. No, seriously. Buy it. You know you want to.
