AVG is the best free virus protection IMO, and Malwarebyte has worked wonders for me in the past.

i know i say it all the time, but i use AVG 8.0 Free Edition, and it is very nice, you should enjoy it.

i already have zone alarm a/v and firewall - so i have to nix the avg...

i think i'm going to go with superantispyware and/or malwarebyte's anti-malware.
