Anti-virus for Macs?

I've searched high and low on this forum (and google), and haven't seen anything about any anti-virus software for Macs that is free. Does such a thing exist, or am I going to have to break down and buy a year-long subscription for the four months I need it? If I missed a thread about this somewhere, someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Muahaha

Ahmmm....if you have a MAC, the likelihood of you getting a virus is close to nothing, because who would create a virus that could potentionally only infect some 5% of computers? However, I could not find any for you either.

Thanks guys! That's what I had heard, that there are like no viruses for Macs, but I'm just so used to HAVING to have a virus protection, I wasn't sure if I needed one...so as long as I'm smart, I should be fine without it for a couple months? Do I need a firewall or anything, or does Tiger already have that?

you're not going to need to worry about any antivirus stuff or firewalls, Tiger does have a built in firewall though :)
