Just want to start a thread to see what anti-virus people have gotten to work with windows 7. I tried a bunch that would not install at all actually... sooo trying to figure out here whats going on in the tech world. I know AVG will work but i want to try something else.

Im running Kaspersky Internet security 2009 on Windows 7 with no problems whatsoever.

Im pretty sure if an antivirus quotes its Vista ready then it will run on 7 because its basicly vista anyway soo. :)

I got AVG and its so weird because It will work up until I restart the pc and it will say that its not compatible. (It still works fine). Anyways, if you actually go to microsoft's website, they list compatible anti-virus programs. Some of them are:

-AVG
-Norton Anti-Virus
-Kaspersky
-Trend Micro
-McAfee
-Panda
-F-Secure

Here's the website:

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that you had to pay for it. They should have preloaded the Beta Windows 7 with a free anti-virus so that you don't have to pay for something that you will not use.

I've installed my NOD32 on 3 different OS's (2 at the same time/partition) on this machine using the same username and password.

No need to buy another copy.
