Antivirus vs spyware vs malware

Can someone explain what the differences are?

I have Bitdefender Internet Security 2010. Is there another software that would compliment the use of BIS?

I heard you're not supposed to use two AV programs together. But is there something lacking from BIS2010? Perhaps something that another software can fill the void with?

An internet security program, such like what you have, will cover all 3 of them. But not one program will catch everything. The free versions of Malwarebytes and Superantispyware will compliment what you have nicely. Malwarebytes is good but there are some things that it misses that Superantispyware will catch and vice versa. However, the free versions don't have active scanning, you would have to get the pay versions.

Only about 5 percent of todays infections are truly viruses. The other 95 percent is the malware/spyware infections.

Thanks for the info...just to confirm, you see no issues of having the free version of Malwarebytes installed and schedule it to run once a week, correct? BIS & Malwarebytes won't clash with each other, correct?

No, they will not clash with each other. You will have to manually scan your system with either malwarebytes or superantispyware as there is no way to schedule scanning unless you buy the paid version.

Ok, done! Bitdefender Internet security has an antivirus, antispyware, antiphishing, antispam, 2 way firewall. I installed Malwarebytes for malware detection.

Do you see anything else lacking that's crucial for computer security?

All I run is AVG free edition and malwarebytes whenever I need to which is very seldom.

Malwarebytes found something and quarantined it. Should I delete it? Is this really malware?

Best antivirus spyware malware protection

I am using AVG 8.5. It is a complete computer protection against the threats which includes antivirus, firewall, with anti-spyware, and anti-spam. There will be conflict between the antivirus software if you installed another antivirus. But if if you install a spyware or malware protection software then there is not any conflicting issue.

I feel that protection is the first most thing for our PC from virus so go and take it before your computer data is blocked and you get fired
