Any advice on build?

Just wondering if this build would be good for video editing.
I have checked it is all compatible. Mainly after weather the video card would be all right and what kind of powersupply would be needed? I'm thinking 550w?

Intel Core i5 750 2.66ghz LGA 1156

Gigabyte GA-p55M-UD4/DDR3/1394/mATX

Gigabyte Radeon HD 4870 1GB Graphic

Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3-1333 RAM

2 SEAGATE HDD 1TB 7200RPM SATAII 32MB NCQ

Pioneer DVR-218L 12X/22X SATA

Yeah that would work very nicely for video editing. It's not so much the graphics card you've got to worry about with editing, it's the CPU.

But both your CPU and graphics card are fine. Don't forget a decent hard drive is quite an important factor, all the file transferring, compressing etc. you will be doing.

Power supply, 550W would be enough, as long as it's a good manufacturer but I'd personally go for a 650-700 to be safe, something from OCZ, Thermaltake, Corsair, BFG etc etc.

ok thanks. so i mainly need to get a good powersupply and case. Are they any cases that come with a decent poersupply or would i have to go seperate?

i can get this GoldenField 2870B ATX Case 500W 2x Cooling Fan Silver/Black case and it has 500w powersupply but don't now what brand.
thats for $50 or i could get this Thermaltake LitePower 600W for $82. and replace it. Would the 500w be good if i could find out brand?
