Any free OS out there?

I'm just curious, it'd be cool if there was a better option out there somewhere that was free.

There are many Linux distros and they are Open Source which also means free.

any linux, BSD, and some others are out there. I think ubuntu is the most common freeware OS.

Like they said, almost any version of linux is free. I'd suggest Linux Mint, Ultimate Edition, or CrunchBang.

What about Google Chrome OS? good for a person online a fair bit.
