any good for online gaming ?

he was saying go for like 4-8gb's of like 1600+mhz ram, but past 1600mhz the price jumps for a smaller performance increase, so the price/performance ratio will go down on say 1866mhz ram since it is a good bit more than 1600mhz, but 1600 is almost the same as 1333 for a good speed boost.

you'll have to be more speific than that, why not just repost the current setup and we'll see what to do.

that's beyond overkill, if you don't mind spending it go for it, but it's not worth the money for the performance, if you want to spend that much this is a better computer, overclockable cpu and faster gpu

but they both have slow ram and are way overkill, it is smarter to get something alot less powerfull then something equivilant to it in a year but with the new parts out and the newer tech too.

many of these listings seem to say they also do custom builds uppon request, so you could ask one of them for an i5-2500k, good asus/msi/gigabyte motherboard, 8gb's ddr3 1600mhz, 1tb samsung f3 or similar wesern digital/seagate, a small ssd with win7 on it, good case with plenty of room and good airflow, a 24' monitor, a antec/corsair/seasonic/silverstone/pc p&c/xfx psu at 6-650w, and a gtx560ti/570 or a hd6950, i think that's everything.
