Any good registry cleaners?

Does anyone know of any good software for cleaning the registry of entries from programs that are no longer installed?

Are there any risks to using such a program?

tuneup utilities offer a good reg cleaner, aswell as other useful tools

Yeah, but of course using free registry cleaners can always come with the odd virus or two, so make sure that you scan the free installion file, or just dont click on the advert ones saying things like "Click here to wipe files from your registry" things like that, it usually contains viruses and macros and stuff

i agree with that, i use tune up utilities a lot and the "undelete" tool is very handy when you press the wrong button
