Any Ideas Why no green light?

Basically, i've put together my 1st pc and it wont start, there is no green light on mobo . I've checked all cables are atached correct and taken memory out and then replaced it. My psu is 430. and i have no sound card, no video card. I just dont understand!!!

and help...

my dad has one, but i can risk it. break that and im dead! i tried the paper clip test and i get a light breeze from the fan.
 
hmm....i mean i dont want to state the obvious but, did you reset the ram and check all cables? it could only be like two things,Mobo or the PSU.Like i said if you could test it in another PC we can narrow it down.
 
d@mn bro...i guess wait till he falls asleep,hehe.theres really not much we can do without a test with another PSU.
 
The problem with the paper clip test is that it doesn't put any strain whatsoever on the PSU. Double check your connections, and I mean ALL of them. I've freaked myself out thinking I somehow broke my mobo when all I had to do was plug in the 8-pin mobo connector and I was sure I already did.
