Any more X2?????

I want to buy an X2 for socket 939, but it seems its geeting a bit old, i can't find, but one (4600+)!! and its out of my budget ($260), they used to have a 3800+ for $160, which is the one i wanted to buy... :(
 
they stopped selling them because core 2 duo rocked AMD's socks off.

pshh how should i know try a different site.

or get a core 2 duo :D
 
well you could check ebay they seem to have socket 939 amd x2 3800 but I never bought a cpu off ebay before
 
Thanks but besides that the page is unknown, the price is extremely high, that 3800+ they have it for $235, when they had it in Newegg, it was $160 (stock price).
 
i think the core 2 duo is starting to convince me to change from AMD to Intel, besides i cant find any more 939 X2:( .But i have some questions first, whats the newest intel socket for Core 2???? what would be a good single pci-e mobo for a core 2 duo???
 
CPU: Core 2 Duo E6300
MOBO: Gigabyte 965P-DS3 (Or just S3 if ur on a tight budget)

and the socket is 775
 
Thanks, im geting an E6300, with that Gigabyte mobo and a gig of XMS2 memory for $470, is that too expensive????? (from newegg)
