Any need for cooler?

So I finally got the computer in my sig up and running and everything seems to be great. Pulling awesome FPS on my games and such. I do have a question though...

Downloaded core temp and most of the temps have stayed between 40-55 degrees. I had planned to buy a fan for the processor, but do I need it with these temps?

Uh...you mean a different heatsink for the processor?

Those temps seem pretty average. You should be fine.

You do not need to buy a new cooler. Your temps are just fine. Just be sure to clean out the heatsink every once in a while to keep the dust out.

Its not the best temps, but they're good. It might be other factors besides your HSF, things like what case you have, if it has cable management, if the temp outside is too hot. You could have the biggest HSF but as long as the temps outside your computer is high, its not gonna help.

But once again, you're fine.

would prob be smart to get a program to put it under load, then monitor the temps and if yo get up to like 70 then turn it off and you might want a new cooler.

I put the cores under load and the temps went up to 53 degrees on a high side after test.

Normal temps are actually lower now for some reason.. been running in the 35 degree range yesterday.

Outside temp has gotten cooler... but would that cause a 10 degree swing in core temps?

Case is just a cheaper style basic case so I doubt it is that great. Also, it is located in a closed computer desk...
