Any recommendations for remote desktop tools with cross-platform support?

Hi!
I’m trying to find a reliable remote desktop tool that works smoothly across Windows, macOS, and Linux. I occasionally help out friends or colleagues who use different systems, so solid cross-platform support is important. I’d prefer something easy to set up, and if it includes file transfer, that’s a big plus.
I’d be grateful for your advice or any recommendations based on your experience.
 
I’ve tried a few cross-platform remote desktop tools and here’s what I’d recommend. HelpWire is free, works on Windows, macOS and Linux, has a stable connection and supports file transfers. It’s perfect if you want something simple and reliable. AnyDesk is fast and responsive and runs on all OSes. RustDesk is open-source, cross-platform and you can self-host it if you want more control. For me HelpWire has been the most convenient for regular remote work.
