Anybody Still playing Kings Quest?

i just bought a (kind of lousy ) re-release of 7 of the kings quest games and i have a couple problems. one deals with the general running of the game and the other is just dealing with the gameplay.
when i try to open kings quest 4 there there is a message that pops up asking a question that you have to answer in order to play the game. now apparently there was a user's guide that came with the original release of the game, but there was nothing that came with this re-release that i have. there is a sort of manual on pdf file, but it is different from the one that was originally provided and i can't access it during game play(and even if i close the game and look for the answer, they ask a different question everytime you open the game). is there anyway to get past this or am i just not able to play the game?
also, could anybody direct me to any sort of an active forum that talks about this game?

Hehe, that's Sierra for you. I know Leisure Suit Larry had something similar at the beginning(5 questions to verify your age, and one for "copy protection") There's not much you can do without the original disk and documents.
