Anyone happen to know what this is (running in the background) ?

I went to msconfig to see what all starts up when I boot up the computer, and this is in there.

I don't speak/read whatever language that is, so I'm unsure what it means.. maybe someone here knows what it says, and/or what it is?

Could you tell us what the registry location is? That may help.

Up to me again. That thing bothers me...it may be a virus, or it may be part of a poorly written device driver. I cannot read so I can not tell. I would think about unchecking it, then do a full virus/adware/trojan scan and see what comes up.
Also look for hardware or software that does not function; that would indicate that it was part of a necessary service, and you should reinstall that item.
Trial and error, but that seems to be the only option so far.

I unchecked it the day I last posted, rebooted.. and so far, nothing has been un-operational.

I do get random freezes in Opera, and in a few other programs.. however, this could be completely un-related.

Also, I ran Spybot S&D as well as Avast Home Edition, both completely updated, and only found one instance of spyware, removed it.. re-scanned, rebooted and this strange process is still there, though it is un-checked now.
