Anyone have a wd elements drive newst model

hi i just got my 2tb elements WDBAAU0020HBK-NESN in today and im having this little issue but dont know if its a real issue the activity light in the back after activity goes solid then after awhile goes to a slow like blinking in 4 sec intervals i was wondering if this is a standby thing or what please someone with info let me know

yea once i go to the drive then it blinks faster which is obviously the activity light part then when i exit the drive it turns to a solid light then after a little bit it goes to the blinking im referring to
 
yea i would say that is a stand by mode of some sort.. like a power button on a laptop or desktop would
