Anyone heard of this? Weird cursor problem…

Every so often, the cursor will stop moving. I can still use the mouse (I have a microsoft bluetooth wireless mouse), because the files light up, I just can’t see where the cursor is. The problem happens instantly once I rip a CD to file using windows media player. I’ve done some searching on the net and found that it may be a video card driver problem, but I have the latest driver. I’ve used an older driver and the same thing happens. Any suggestions are welcome.

I have heard of a simular problem before. It seems that the wireless or blue tooth (in this case) drivers can conflict with some software applications. Are you using the standard windows cursor? and when you restart the computer does it return to normal?

I've used many different cursors; everything from the default to windows options to a totally custom one. It makes no difference. But, it does return to normal when I restart the computer. (It just sucks having to do that all the time)
