Hi Guys,

I am helping my uncle to solve some PC issues but am having a problem I cannot solve. Every time the computer boots up Avast antivirus displays a warning message saying that a Trojan (win32:small-bqz) has been found and recommends to move to chest. I have done this several times and deleted the file (including in safe mode) however when we coot the computer again exactly the same message appears.

Any ideas??

hmm, theres a good chance its part of a prefech file.
Like every time you turn the comp on, that one file brings back all the problems you deleted.

Run the anti virus, put it in chest, delete it, heal it, what ever you did the first time and before restarting, run a registry cleaner program and basically run all your anti pest/spy/hack/male/bug ware software and then resatart.

If it still comes back, go to start and RUN. type in MSCONFIG.
Go into services and see if there are any "Unknown" services. If there is, turn them off.
