Anyone know of any free dial up providers?

I've heard of free dial-up internet service providers. All you've got to do is download the programs, and you're set. I'm guessing these are ad supported, but it doesn't bother me.

I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Does anyone know of any free dial-up internet service providers for this location?

There used to be 3Web, but it died in like 1999. The business model for free ISP's just doesn't work.

Free ISP's are a thing of the past.. There still possibly may still be some.. but i doubt it. I don't know about canada, but it's not that expensive for internet anymore. I have a dial up service which charges 7.78 a month.

Yea NetZero gives you like 10 hours..but its add supported..and plus Dial-Up
goes like this:

-Person clicks on a link
-person gets up to get a drink
-person goes to the bathroom
-person watches some tv
-then comes back to the computer only to find that the page is only 1/2 loaded (speakin from past experience) !!
