So heres what im trying to do: we want to rig up a computer in our bedroom for our tv (were ditching cable for netflix and hulu) and i want to utilize my old laptop which we have already been using but i want to mount it in our closet. Our security system has its main insides in this cool box in the closet and I would ideally like to rip the laptop apart and mount the insides in a box like the security system is and mount the lcd screen to the front of it. Problem is that i dont know what you call theae handy dandy boxes and have no idea where to get one. Ive asked home improvement stores and they dont even know and online the only thing ive been able to turn up are electrical boxes which are very expensive and way to big. Ill try to post some pics when i get home but anyone with a home security system will know exactly what im talking about.
