So anyone in here mobile only like use Android, Chrome OS, or IOS as their main OS? If so what device do you use tablet, smartphone, or Chromebook "top, box, etc"?

As for me I use a Chromebook for my main computer and a tablet the Lenovo yoga tab 2 10 inch running Android for games.

Most users around here are pretty "in to" computers and most likely will have a powerful desktop in some capacity. I'm sure there are exceptions though.

I use my Asus X550LB-NH52 (specs below) as my laptop for classes, gaming on the go, and a machine to move around the house as needed. My LG Optimus G Pro is my cell phone, and while it's an older device, it still holds its own relatively well against newer smartphones. It is essentially a reddit and texting machine for me though.

Those aren't generally 'feature rich' enough for a lot of computing tasks.

Also, 'gaming' on mobile devices or tablets really leaves a lot to be desired ;)

Although, the Chromebook is pretty handy with Beagle Term for consoling into network devices.

Hell, for about 2 years I used only my iphone 4s when I was livin in my car. Just getting back into computers. I stopped using a computer around windows 7... I go to use win 8 and just... WOW

Windows 8 made me realize how much I dont need a full OS to do everything I do anymore.

Also I had unlimited data on my first smartphone it was an lg vortex 3.2 inch screen watched hours of YouTube on it. only complaint i had was i couldn't multi task with it.

I'm mobile only....I don't have cable tv or cable internet at home. The only time I use anything other than my cellphone for internet is at a friend's house or work.

Last time I owned a desktop was around 2010.

So is this by choice? like if you had internet would you still use a mobile device or be on a full desktop?

Also the only reason i have cable tv is cause I only pay 7 dollars a month for it.

It was my choice. I got tired of paying $90 a month for TV and internet. And I did it also for health reasons. I was about 60 pounds overweight. I put the savings towards a bike and gym membership and lost that 60 pounds in about 5 months.

I'm a much happier person. I'm not stuck at a desktop computer eating pizza and downing mountain dews like i use to. I know if I bought a desktop I'd be fat again because I would spend several hours a day on it playing video games and not mountain biking or hiking.

Plus my android smartphone does everything I use to do with a desktop except that it's mobile and I can take it anywhere and use the internet on the go.

My smartphone has even replaced my gps device.
